Celebi's Selim Hızarcı got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Gürcan Bektaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özal Topdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, SelimguvenXx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezgin Timurkan to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Selim Hızarcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Celebi's Gürcan Bektaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özal Topdemir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mustafa Barış Ruhsat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coşkun Akdeniz in the 28th minute of play. Gürcan Bektaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Topdemir having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Selim Hızarcı put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Özal Topdemir. Coşkun Akdeniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mustafa Barış Ruhsat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Münir Ekin's late challenge caught a SelimguvenXx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Münir Ekin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Celebi getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Münir Ekin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Selim Hızarcı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celebi's supporters rose to their feet, but Selim Hızarcı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özal Topdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Ali Aynacıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Aynacıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celebi played a much better game than SelimguvenXx and deserved their victory. The SelimguvenXx players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
