The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ateş Yavuzcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Özden Tuğrul made a huge save. Kamuran Geçimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Özden Tuğrul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Özden Tuğrul throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tolga Başkur in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamuran Geçimoğlu in the 9th minute of play forced Hatay's goalkeeper Özden Tuğrul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Kamuran Geçimoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seydisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamuran Geçimoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özden Tuğrul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ateş Yavuzcan got free with Özden Tuğrul in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kamuran Geçimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Kamuran Geçimoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Hatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Uğur to maneuver through the defense. Fahri Önder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. Fahri Önder hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hatay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seydisehir the free kick. In the 30th minute Hakkı Deniz Uğur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeray Tanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vahit Kadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Seydisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Vahit Kadri came free, but Şeray Tanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hatay booed when Seydisehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altuğ Ünsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Seydisehir players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
