Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berkay Turhan in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talha Avcıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Talha Avcıoğlu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sehitkamil JK's Berkay Turhan. But to his dismay, Berkay Turhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vehdi Devlet in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talha Avcıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Berkay Turhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Talha Avcıoğlu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Berkay Turhan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Talha Avcıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sehitkamil JK. After 37 minutes, Hulusi Haneci made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sehitkamil JK's Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necip Fazıl Öğün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sehitkamil JK's zone, Necip Fazıl Öğün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu came out of the goal and Necip Fazıl Öğün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Sehitkamil JK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necip Fazıl Öğün was the one to do the kick off. If Vehdi Devlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necip Fazıl Öğün in the 57th minute of play. When Vehdi Devlet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sehitkamil JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vehdi Devlet couldn't finish the play. karagümrük's Talha Avcıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save karagümrük from getting a goal against them. Talha Avcıoğlu was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Vehdi Devlet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vehdi Devlet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, Sehitkamil JK's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Haneci came free, but Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa İzzet Davutoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necip Fazıl Öğün, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Sehitkamil JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sehitkamil JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
