If Zeynel Ünlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eşref Seciye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeynel Ünlem, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cumhur Kumanbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ladik FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Veli Uğurlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yunus Berat to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Uğurlu in the 53rd minute of play forced Demirci's goalkeeper Eşref Seciye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eşref Seciye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selmi Kutsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Demirci getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Yunus Berat hit a great ball. Eşref Seciye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Ünlem in the 94th minute of play. Demirci's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
