İstanbul FC's Abdulmelik İmge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Ülküm in the 29th minute of play. When Genco Özdoruk came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the LosGalatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genco Özdoruk couldn't finish the play. If Genco Özdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to İstanbul FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Atabek Abay hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Halil Can Zeynelabidin made a precise shot to the right of Abdulmelik İmge. İstanbul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

LosGalatasaray's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Genco Özdoruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LosGalatasaray players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
