Spectators: 7361 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basri Tuncer started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Basri Tuncer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragıp Siraceddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Gencay Başel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duragan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencay Başel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Batıray Çalkın notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of İstanbul FC's Abdulmelik İmge. Abdulmelik İmge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, İstanbul FC's Fadıl Tunçbilek got a free kick in the 16th minute. Abdulmelik İmge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıray Çalkın in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, İstanbul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faruk Kavaş to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Başel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik İmge having to interfere. Fehmi İmar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ragıp Siraceddin. Duragan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gencay Başel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik İmge having to interfere. If Batıray Çalkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to İstanbul FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Faruk Kavaş hit a great ball. Abdulmelik İmge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencay Başel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Duragan's Batıray Çalkın in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İstanbul FC's goalie prevented a goal. Batıray Çalkın's late challenge caught a İstanbul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batıray Çalkın helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Batıray Çalkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duragan's Gencay Başel got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Faruk Kavaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Batıray Çalkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duragan's supporters rose to their feet, but Batıray Çalkın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulmelik İmge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batıray Çalkın to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emirhan Şölen during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Duragan booed when İstanbul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirhan Şölen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fehmi İmar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gencay Başel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Abdulmelik İmge made a huge save. When Fadıl Tunçbilek fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İstanbul FC's protests and gave Fadıl Tunçbilek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, İstanbul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadıl Tunçbilek to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in İstanbul FC's zone, Adnan Kınay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulmelik İmge came out of the goal and Adnan Kınay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdulmelik İmge made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gencay Başel sent off a good shot on target. If Batıray Çalkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıray Çalkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik İmge having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Batıray Çalkın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes İstanbul FC got a freekick which was hit by Fadıl Tunçbilek. After recieving a nice pass, Duragan's Taha Aksakal tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gencay Başel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik İmge having to interfere. Batıray Çalkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik İmge having to interfere. If Batıray Çalkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Duragan's Batıray Çalkın slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdulmelik İmge. That made the score 0-2 after 97 minutes of play. Duragan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
