The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yahya Kemal Sarper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Erboğa in the 4th minute of play. Turgut Erboğa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahya Kemal Sarper having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhat Akbal in the 8th minute of play forced MİLLİ GENÇLİK SPOR's goalkeeper Yahya Kemal Sarper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Serhat Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciftehavuzlar JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serhat Akbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Şeray Paksan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Turgut Erboğa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciftehavuzlar JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgut Erboğa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yahya Kemal Sarper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkutalp Yiğitkan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Turan Şahbazoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Yahya Bakır's late challenge caught a Ciftehavuzlar JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yahya Bakır helped the player get up and apologised. Yahya Bakır hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Yahya Kemal Sarper came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciftehavuzlar JK's Turgut Erboğa. But to his dismay, Turgut Erboğa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Turgut Erboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play MİLLİ GENÇLİK SPOR's Yahya Bakır was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th minute, Yahya Bakır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 48 minutes, Serhat Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciftehavuzlar JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serhat Akbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aktan Birsen made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Yüce Yuvakuran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MİLLİ GENÇLİK SPOR and the Ciftehavuzlar JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yüce Yuvakuran kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ciftehavuzlar JK's Serhat Akbal got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Serhat Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahya Kemal Sarper made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mehmet Arif Tutku sent off a good shot on target. Serhat Akbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute of the match, Serhat Akbal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yahya Kemal Sarper was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Aktan Birsen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of İstemihan Yetiş. Turgut Erboğa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yahya Kemal Sarper having to make a save. If Serhat Akbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Ciftehavuzlar JK's Serhat Akbal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yahya Kemal Sarper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Arif Tutku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes MİLLİ GENÇLİK SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Tansel Akkuş. In the 97th minute, Serhat Akbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciftehavuzlar JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match was over Ciftehavuzlar JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MİLLİ GENÇLİK SPOR throughout the match.
