Necdet Kamuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Böke in the 4th minute of play. Kayagan belediye FK's Yasin Zeyyat got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reha Üners short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Ali Cafer Boyraz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Reha Üner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasin Zeyyat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kayagan belediye FK's Yasin Zeyyat got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doğuş Böke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Kamuran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Zeyyat in the 30th minute of play forced Ｋ Ａ Ｙ Ｉ's goalkeeper Necdet Kamuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kayagan belediye FK's Numan Sunullah got a free kick in the 34th minute. Varol Erozan succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Berkan Rakim kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yasin Zeyyat was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Günalp İdrisoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayagan belediye FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ｋ Ａ Ｙ Ｉ the free kick. After 54 played minutes Kayagan belediye FK got a freekick which was hit by Günalp İdrisoğlu. Kayagan belediye FK's Doğuş Böke got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğuş Böke got free with Necdet Kamuran in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reha Üner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Cafer Boyraz having to make a save. Refik Halit Vecid was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Necdet Kamuran was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sercan Akağan. Yasin Zeyyat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Doğuş Böke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yasin Zeyyat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Necdet Kamuran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Yasin Zeyyat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kayagan belediye FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
