After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Reşat Taşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taşgücü Sk's supporters rose to their feet, but Reşat Taşcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Namık Kutunalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute of the match, Lefter Yaman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mustafa Namık Kutunalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Ömerli getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mustafa Necati İşkembeci hit a great ball. Lefter Yaman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mustafa Namık Kutunalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lefter Yaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute of the match Aytaç Taştekin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baybars Vural showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Taşgücü Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ömerli the free kick. The supporters of Ömerli booed when Taşgücü Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneri Özsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taşgücü Sk's Reşat Taşcan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Lefter Yaman made the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Namık Kutunalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lefter Yaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Ali Erdem Çoğahan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Necati İşkembeci got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Taşgücü Sk booed when Ömerli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Necati İşkembeci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ömerli defense, Lefter Yaman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Namık Kutunalp. The Ömerli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Namık Kutunalp should have stopped the shot. Hakkı Kenan Nurbay charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Kenan Nurbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Ömerli got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Kenan Nurbay. In the 80th minute, Reşat Taşcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taşgücü Sk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bayram Onbulak struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Baybars Vural didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ömerli. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boran Enfa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boran Enfa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Taşgücü Sk's Baybars Vural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayram Onbulak in the 85th minute of play. Barışcan Pekergin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Galip Bozyiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Taşgücü Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resulhan Batıkan to maneuver through the defense.
