After a rather tough play, Sun's Orkun Tüzel got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes in the game, Şentürk Yiğitcan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baha Emir having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Görkem Selmi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulmelik Beytekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute, Görkem Selmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Görkem Selmi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulmelik Beytekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Görkem Selmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik Beytekin having to interfere. With a little luck, Sun's Baha Emir got control of the ball when Şentürk Yiğitcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Seyfettin İlkutay fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sun's protests and gave Seyfettin İlkutay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Sun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfettin İlkutay to maneuver through the defense. Gürcan Yağızbay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. GRİ KURT's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Seyfettin İlkutay hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ahmet Koralp Ayyıldız from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Baha Emir's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Abdulmelik Beytekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Selmi in the 34th minute of the match. Abdulmelik Beytekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Görkem Selmi's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Abdulmelik Beytekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The GRİ KURT players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sun were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Engin Erben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baha Emir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Gürcan Yağızbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRİ KURT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 74 played minutes GRİ KURT got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Ayyıldız. In the 74th minute, Berkin Koçaş sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GRİ KURT's Abdulmelik Beytekin didn't even have to move. GRİ KURT's Abdulmelik Beytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy in the 76th minute of play. Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulmelik Beytekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy ran back to his position shaking his head. If Görkem Selmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Görkem Selmi got free with Abdulmelik Beytekin in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Görkem Selmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Abdulmelik Beytekin made a huge save. After some careless play in the Sun defense, Şentürk Yiğitcan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baha Emir. The Sun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baha Emir should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
