Chester FC's Gökay Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ayberk Ulunay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökay Muhsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Hamdi Hürsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enver Sayıl charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enver Sayıl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Chester FC got a freekick which was hit by Enver Sayıl. Baha Emir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chester FC. Ahmet Hakan Akasma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Turgut Revnak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chester FC and the Sun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chester FC's Turgut Revnak got a free kick in the 31st minute. Baha Emir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enver Sayıl in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ahmet Hakan Akasma sped through Sun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baha Emir. Baha Emir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Hakan Akasma's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Hakan Akasma was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Chester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem Selmi came free, but Gökay Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ahmet Hakan Akasma put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Baha Emir. Baha Emir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ayberk Ulunay in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Chester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Kerim to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Chester FC's Semail Deryace ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baha Emir. Baha Emir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Cüneyd Gürler lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Chester FC. Mustafa Haydar Kerim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baha Emir. 0-5. Şahin Ağaoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Baha Emir made a huge save. Semail Deryace blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baha Emir having to make a save. Baha Emir made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ahmet Hakan Akasma sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Bilge Rical received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baha Emir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chester FC booed when Sun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfettin İlkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Chester FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sun.
