Ali Macit Baykut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Işıkalp Kaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Baran Alp Nazir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serhat Işınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk having to interfere. Baybars Azimoğlu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Serhat Işınay scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serhat Işınay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Baran Alp Nazir rounded Harmancik's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Ali Macit Baykut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güneri Civanbaht in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, KASTAMONUSPOR 1966 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhan Şahin to maneuver through the defense. Ali Macit Baykut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Işıkalp Kaman's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Harmancik's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serhat Işınay. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baran Alp Nazir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nurettin Zade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Serhat Işınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Harmancik's zone, Baran Alp Nazir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk came out of the goal and Baran Alp Nazir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baran Alp Nazir might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Ferit Şahtürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baran Alp Nazir ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneri Civanbaht in the 60th minute of play forced KASTAMONUSPOR 1966's goalkeeper Ali Macit Baykut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güneri Civanbaht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Harmancik's Güneri Civanbaht dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Güneri Civanbaht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ali Macit Baykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Işıkalp Kaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baybars Azimoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baybars Azimoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes KASTAMONUSPOR 1966 got a freekick which was hit by Baybars Azimoğlu. Kaptan Türegün was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Güneri Civanbaht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ali Macit Baykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, Harmancik's Işıkalp Kaman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Macit Baykut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Işıkalp Kaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Baykut having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
