Gümüşhane SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Fatih Erez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Fatih Erez was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Asım Baycan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Macit Baykut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Mehmet Fatih Erez made a precise shot to the right of Ali Macit Baykut. KASTAMONUSPOR 1966's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ayberk Kargin struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ali Macit Baykut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gümüşhane SK. Alperen Kahraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Azimoğlu during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KASTAMONUSPOR 1966 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Baybars Azimoğlu hit a great ball. Burhan Şahin's late challenge caught a Gümüşhane SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Burhan Şahin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gümüşhane SK booed when KASTAMONUSPOR 1966 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhan Şahin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
