Ramazan Akartuna started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Savaş Çolakoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fikri Uluerkan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sermet Baltacı showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Garip Taze got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fikri Uluerkan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fikri Uluerkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Özengin in the 21st minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Niğdespor FK's Aykutalp Özdoğan tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Savaş Çolakoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birdal Erdoğdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birdal Erdoğdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savaş Çolakoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Ramazan Akartuna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birdal Erdoğdu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Necdet Özengin to strike the kick off in the second half. Garip Taze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fikri Uluerkan having to make a save. Fikri Uluerkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garip Taze in the 73rd minute of the match. Sermet Baltacı charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sermet Baltacı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Niğdespor FK booed when Ihsangazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sermet Baltacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramazan Akartuna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Birdal Erdoğdu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Necdet Özengin made a precise shot to the right of Fikri Uluerkan. Niğdespor FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. In the 96th minute, Ramazan Akartuna fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match was over Niğdespor FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ihsangazi throughout the match.
