Şenol Beyhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkay Başok in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Berkay Başok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şenol Beyhan. Konyaspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berkay Başok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Tarsus's Batıkan Aydoğan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şenol Beyhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If İsa Nurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökberk İlker might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Numan Serkut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökberk İlker ran back to his position shaking his head. Berkay Başok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Şenol Beyhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Batıkan Aydoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Beyhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şenol Beyhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkay Başok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Şenol Beyhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkay Başok in the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Baykal Akpınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Numan Serkut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Berkay Başok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarsus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkay Başok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Konyaspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tarsus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
