The audience thought a goal was coming when Naim Öztanır got free with Remzi Ulutekin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naim Öztanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Remzi Ulutekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remzi Ulutekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhun Necat, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bahattin Ziverbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aziz Taha having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Bahattin Ziverbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yildirim FK's Aziz Taha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gürhan Evvah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Yildirim FK's Ilgaz Kantara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ilgaz Kantara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yildirim FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ilgaz Kantara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yildirim FK! Aziz Taha went to the wrong direction when Selman Avcu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bahattin Ziverbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ziya Ağaverdi's late challenge caught a DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziya Ağaverdi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Ziya Ağaverdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Aras Görkem Akçakoca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildirim FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aras Görkem Akçakoca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Yildirim FK booed when DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamdullah Aksun didn't get a good kick on the ball. DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's Gürhan Evvah got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naim Öztanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reşit Süner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remzi Ulutekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naim Öztanır, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Ahmet Refik Korcan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's protests and gave Ahmet Refik Korcan a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Refik Korcan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's Remzi Ulutekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naim Öztanır in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Naim Öztanır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remzi Ulutekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's zone, Naim Öztanır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remzi Ulutekin came out of the goal and Naim Öztanır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Yüksel Yuluğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remzi Ulutekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Görkem Akçakoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, DörtyolGençlerBirliĞi's goal looked a bit too open when Ziya Ağaverdi came free, but Remzi Ulutekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Naim Öztanır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildirim FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naim Öztanır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
