The supporters of Yildirim FK booed when Ipsala JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürsel Samin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhun Necat in the 25th minute of play forced Ipsala JK's goalkeeper Uğur Tulun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Yildirim FK's goalkeeper Aziz Taha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hami Deniz. A collision led to Ipsala JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arın Akkın hit a great ball. After the first half Yildirim FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceyhun Necat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ipsala JK's Uğur Tulun got control of the ball when Mazhar Seci tried to sneak it across the goal line.
