Aşkın Öğeturk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahdet Dicle went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Çağrı Vefi in the 13th minute of play forced ARES FK's goalkeeper Şakir Yoruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ARES FK's Tuncer Temur got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Ali Çağrı Vefi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erfelek JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Çağrı Vefi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Erfelek JK booed when ARES FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nizam Demirman didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARES FK's Şakir Yoruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Çağrı Vefi in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, ARES FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Vefi came free, but Şakir Yoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Çağrı Vefi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, ARES FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Vefi came free, but Şakir Yoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erfelek JK's Aşkın Öğeturk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Erfelek JK from getting a goal against them. If Enver Günaydın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Çağrı Vefi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şakir Yoruk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Şakir Yoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enver Günaydın's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Şakir Yoruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Çağrı Vefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, ARES FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Vefi came free, but Şakir Yoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şakir Yoruk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Çağrı Vefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Erfelek JK got a freekick which was hit by Ulaş Eymen. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Çağrı Vefi to make the kick off. Aşkın Öğeturk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tugay Bilek in the 60th minute of play. Vahdet Dicle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Öğeturk having to interfere. Tugay Bilek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aşkın Öğeturk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aykut Veli charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aykut Veli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aykut Veli kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Erfelek JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! 83 minutes into the match, ARES FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Vefi came free, but Şakir Yoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Tugay Bilek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARES FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erfelek JK the free kick. Ali Çağrı Vefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Şakir Yoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enver Günaydın got free with Şakir Yoruk in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aşkın Öğeturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizam Demirman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Haydar Birsan during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Erfelek JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ARES FK:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for ARES FK. Gökberk Mutluay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aşkın Öğeturk. 3-0. ARES FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Erfelek JK for a fine match.
