Baysal Karaoğlan's late challenge caught a LoranFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. LoranFK's Akın Kerimhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Şirzat in the 65th minute of play. Jack Hurst spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FENERBAHÇE's goal. LoranFK's Altuğ Zaik quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mehmet Ediz Eriş, made in the 72nd minute of the game. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LoranFK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
