Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Seyit Süreyya kicked off to start the match. When Emrullah Acunman fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karataş FK's protests and gave Emrullah Acunman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Emrullah Acunman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Çeliker Tacim, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute Gökçe Reşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Gökçe Reşit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karataş FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçe Reşit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Şadi Özpinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüseyin Rahmi Ertaş hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, KIRŞEHİR SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şadi Özpinar. After a defensive mix-up in Karataş FK's zone, Osman Işınsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevdet Togan came out of the goal and Osman Işınsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Karataş FK's İsmet Nurullah got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of KIRŞEHİR SK booed when Karataş FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Acunman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRŞEHİR SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hüseyin Rahmi Ertaş kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gökçe Reşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökçe Reşit to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Karataş FK got a corner. KIRŞEHİR SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gani Nadir ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gani Nadir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KIRŞEHİR SK's Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin did a great save. If Şadi Özpinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şadi Özpinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gökçe Reşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Aytaç Talaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Gökçe Reşit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karataş FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçe Reşit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Emrah Terzioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şadi Özpinar in the 76th minute of play. The Karataş FK fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Karataş FK's Şadi Özpinar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of KIRŞEHİR SK booed when Karataş FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Acunman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Gencer Lema shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, KIRŞEHİR SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şadi Özpinar came free, but Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şadi Özpinar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Gökçe Reşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Yahya Boğatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Karataş FK were the better team. Karataş FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
