Sarper Baykır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Kas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ergün Tanpınar hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Pekin Ceri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sami Açıkgöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sarper Baykır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kas's Sami Açıkgöz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Hasret Yesar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burgazada the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kas's Hasret Yesar got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necat Orsel got free with Rüştü Ramazanoğulları in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sarper Baykır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sarper Baykır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Göksel Akergin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 49 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Burgazada! Sarper Baykır went to the wrong direction when Ali Behzat Tandoruk was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rüştü Ramazanoğulları took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necat Orsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burgazada's goalkeeper Sarper Baykır, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Şahap Uzel fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burgazada's protests and gave Şahap Uzel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sami Açıkgöz struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sarper Baykır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kas. After a rather tough play, Burgazada's Cumhur Aktaç got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 76 minutes, Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Burgazada's Sarper Baykır tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Burgazada got a freekick which was hit by Tunç Tapık. Sarper Baykır made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Yavuz Selim Ayazoğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, Sami Açıkgöz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sarper Baykır was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match was over Kas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Burgazada throughout the match.
