The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Sedat Sorgun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fethi Ülkem was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Niksarspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamdi Ayana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günay Başeskioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fethi Ülkem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Sorgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Niksarspor's Fethi Ülkem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sedat Sorgun in the 22nd minute of play. Fethi Ülkem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arman Ülken's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Halis Uçkan's late challenge caught a Niksarspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halis Uçkan helped the player get up and apologised. Halis Uçkan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Niksarspor getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kudret Tibet hit a great ball. Günay Başeskioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kıraç Baltaş in the 77th minute of the match. İzzet İnan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fethi Ülkem didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.
