After a rather tough play, AĞRI SSK's Türkeş Kudret got a free kick in the 7th minute. Serhan Muhsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Günay Başeskioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes AĞRI SSK got a freekick which was hit by Birol Neşet. Sedat Sorgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Arman Ülken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Reha Serol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hüsamettin Davutoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yahyali's protests and gave Hüsamettin Davutoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Hüsamettin Davutoğlu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. AĞRI SSK's Günay Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhan Muhsin in the 37th minute of play. Yahyali's Güral Keramettin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Güral Keramettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cafer Başsoy came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Yahyali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafer Başsoy couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sedat Sorgun during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AĞRI SSK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sedat Sorgun hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arman Ülken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Reha Serol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Sorgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Çetin Özgebay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serhan Muhsin might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Günay Başeskioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serhan Muhsin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Güral Keramettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Türkeş Kudret kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Çetin Özgebay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Yahyali's Günay Başeskioğlu threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Çetin Özgebay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the game, Berker Rıza Tankut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yahyali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AĞRI SSK the free kick. A collision led to Yahyali getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Berker Rıza Tankut hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Fahri Altunışık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yahyali's supporters rose to their feet, but Fahri Altunışık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günay Başeskioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Çetin Özgebay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hüsamettin Davutoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serhan Muhsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Günay Başeskioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çetin Özgebay, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Güral Keramettin might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Günay Başeskioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güral Keramettin ran back to his position shaking his head. Günay Başeskioğlu was a little too slow when Hüsamettin Davutoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-2. Günay Başeskioğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güral Keramettin in the 96th minute. Yahyali played a much better game than AĞRI SSK and deserved their victory. The AĞRI SSK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
