The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturalp Er couldn't finish the play. If Altay Perver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahit Balkoç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mustafa Ekrem Sadullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Arif Memduh Çağlar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Ekrem Sadullah. Vahit Balkoç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mustafa Ekrem Sadullah made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mustafa Ekrem Sadullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahit Balkoç in the 95th minute of the match. Özvatan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
