The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Selman FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Güney:s goal. Güney's Gökçek Tuğalp got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kutlu Bostancı kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Selman FK's zone, Orçun Okyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serhan Okatan came out of the goal and Orçun Okyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serhan Okatan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cüneyt Eraltay. Günalp Derman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğit Can Tanyolaç's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Güney's Orçun Okyar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serhan Okatan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yiğit Can Tanyolaç in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Günalp Derman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serhan Okatan was a little too slow when Gökçek Tuğalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-1. The audience was convinced that Yiğit Can Tanyolaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günalp Derman was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Serhan Okatan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökçek Tuğalp in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, one of Selman FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Selman FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçek Tuğalp in the 55th minute of play forced Selman FK's goalkeeper Serhan Okatan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Güney's Günalp Derman got control of the ball when Kutlu Bostancı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orçun Okyar struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Serhan Okatan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güney. Güney's Günalp Derman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Can Tanyolaç in the 59th minute of play. With his leg Günalp Derman managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Selman FK's Yiğit Can Tanyolaç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Yiğit Can Tanyolaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günalp Derman was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Gökçek Tuğalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serhan Okatan having to make a save. Selman FK's Çakabey Tanju got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Çakabey Tanju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günalp Derman having to interfere. Günalp Derman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Can Tanyolaç in the 98th minute of the match. Çakabey Tanju struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Günalp Derman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selman FK. Selman FK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Güney had won, even though Selman FK had held more of the ball.
