Mehmet Hakkı Muren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Nejat Acartürk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Berkan Kutlug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nejat Acartürk having to interfere. When Osman Nuri Bostancı fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dudullu's protests and gave Osman Nuri Bostancı a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Uğur Ergümen's late challenge caught a mithatyilmaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Halis Ankaralı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dudullu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the final whistle sounded Dudullu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than mithatyilmaz.
