Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Halim Keykavus kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Turgay Onursal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gani Sidam kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kayhan Tayguner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İhsan Mertel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halim Keykavus in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muammer Refi saved Erzurum from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Erzurum's goal looked a bit too open when Halim Keykavus came free, but Muammer Refi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hakkı Ilgın came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tutak SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Ilgın couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayhan Tayguner couldn't finish the play. When İsa Elhan fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tutak SK's protests and gave İsa Elhan a yellow card for diving instead. 37 minutes into the game, Kayhan Tayguner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of İhsan Mertel. Kayhan Tayguner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kayhan Tayguner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hakkı Ilgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muammer Refi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halim Keykavus in the 54th minute of play. İhsan Mertel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgay Onursal in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Reis Mennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, Erzurum's Kayhan Tayguner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İhsan Mertel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 74th match minute, Erzurum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müslüm Cemşit to maneuver through the defense. Muammer Refi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halim Keykavus's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Hakkı Ilgın came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tutak SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Ilgın couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Tutak SK got a freekick which was hit by Ünsal Okutman. After a rather tough play, Erzurum's Kutluay Salur got a free kick in the 85th minute. Kayhan Tayguner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Kayhan Tayguner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tutak SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Erzurum.
