In the 9th match minute, HeRo SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Björnsson to maneuver through the defense. When Sadri Orkutay fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HeRo SK's protests and gave Sadri Orkutay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, HeRo SK's Sadri Orkutay got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute, Sadri Orkutay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 23 played minutes Toprak got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Perviz. If Emrullah Serkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Kevin Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. HeRo SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Björnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yakup Uzbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sadri Orkutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Yakup Uzbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Sadri Orkutay notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Toprak's Yakup Uzbay. Yakup Uzbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sadri Orkutay was the one to do the kick off. Sadri Orkutay came free in the 53rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Yakup Uzbay, but to the joy of Toprak's supporters the ball went over. In the 56th minute, Kevin Björnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadri Orkutay fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 58th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. HeRo SK's Kevin Björnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadri Orkutay came free in the 62nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Yakup Uzbay, but to the joy of Toprak's supporters the ball went over. In the 70th match minute, HeRo SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadri Orkutay to maneuver through the defense. Uluç Sabahaddin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrullah Serkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Toprak booed when HeRo SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadri Orkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emrullah Serkan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 2-0 came in the 82nd minute when Kevin Björnsson all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Yakup Uzbay. Kevin Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Sadri Orkutay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HeRo SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadri Orkutay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
