He was immediately shown a red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of Dereli JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Battal Gazi Özdoruk's late challenge caught a Türkiye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Battal Gazi Özdoruk helped the player get up and apologised. Battal Gazi Özdoruk kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The long shot by Özgür Tankut in the 20th minute really tested Tayfur Gerdaneri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Halil İbrahim Yalazabey kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Türkiye's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Osman Uluberk came free, but Bahattin Bircanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mehmet Osman Uluberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Dereli JK's Mehmet Osman Uluberk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahattin Bircanoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Osman Uluberk might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahattin Bircanoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Osman Uluberk ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Refik Balım got free with Tayfur Gerdaneri in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Osman Uluberk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gencay Azimoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dereli JK's Tayfur Gerdaneri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Türkiye's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsrev Sezgen came free, but Bahattin Bircanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Osman Uluberk got free with Bahattin Bircanoğlu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes of play, Türkiye's Gencay Azimoğlu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Türkiye's Bahattin Bircanoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Türkiye from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Osman Uluberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Osman Uluberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bahattin Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Osman Uluberk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Bahattin Bircanoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mehmet Osman Uluberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Osman Uluberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Türkiye's zone, Mehmet Osman Uluberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Bircanoğlu came out of the goal and Mehmet Osman Uluberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Osman Uluberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bahattin Bircanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Türkiye succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Dereli JK had controlled the match.
