Toprak's Hayrullah Perviz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Toprak's Emrullah Serkan in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mutkispor's goalie prevented a goal. Emrullah Serkan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serhat Arıtan came out and tried to block the shot, but Emrullah Serkan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emrullah Serkan in the 16th minute of play forced Mutkispor's goalkeeper Serhat Arıtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Haydar Okyanus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayrullah Perviz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Serhat Arıtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Toprak's zone, Ali Haydar Okyanus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakup Uzbay came out of the goal and Ali Haydar Okyanus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bilgin İzmirli made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mutkispor's İsrafil Aydınoğlu got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emrullah Serkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toprak's supporters rose to their feet, but Emrullah Serkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serhat Arıtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hayrullah Perviz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakup Uzbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgin İzmirli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toprak's goalkeeper Yakup Uzbay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Toprak's Yakup Uzbay got control of the ball when Ali Haydar Okyanus tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hazar Okkan fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mutkispor's protests and gave Hazar Okkan a yellow card for diving instead. Hazar Okkan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Toprak's Mustafa Namık Bican couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mutkispor. During the 71st minute of the match Hazar Okkan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hazar Okkan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hazar Okkan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Emrullah Serkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toprak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emrullah Serkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serhat Arıtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrullah Serkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, İsrafil Aydınoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yakup Uzbay was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toprak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. İskender Akpolat was slow to take the kick. During this time Mutkispor's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mutkispor's İskender Akpolat to fire away a dangerous shot which Yakup Uzbay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ali Haydar Okyanus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Ali Haydar Okyanus made a precise shot to the right of Yakup Uzbay. Toprak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
