When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Gencay Azimoğlu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adil Kutsoy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Yücelay during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karayazi JK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Baybars Yücelay hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Türkiye's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Helvacıoğlu came free, but Bahattin Bircanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adil Kutsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Balım in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Batuğ Tanacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adil Kutsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Korkut Armağan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karayazi JK's protests and gave Korkut Armağan a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Karayazi JK got a freekick which was hit by Korkut Armağan. When Özgür Tankut came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Türkiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özgür Tankut couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ahmet Refik Balım managed to get in a good position for a shot. Türkiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Refik Balım was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adil Kutsoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batuğ Tanacan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Gencay Azimoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adil Kutsoy was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ahmet Refik Balım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adil Kutsoy having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Özgür Tankut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adil Kutsoy skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Adil Kutsoy managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Türkiye's Gencay Azimoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gencay Azimoğlus short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Adil Kutsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Karayazi JK's zone, Ahmet Refik Balım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adil Kutsoy came out of the goal and Ahmet Refik Balım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Türkiye defense, Çağlar Nurbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahattin Bircanoğlu. The Türkiye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahattin Bircanoğlu should have stopped the shot. Bahattin Bircanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağlar Nurbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Kutlu Okergun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Türkiye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karayazi JK the free kick. After 75 played minutes Türkiye got a freekick which was hit by Kutlu Okergun. Adil Kutsoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gencay Azimoğlu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Karayazi JK got a freekick which was hit by Volkan Yeten. In the 79th match minute, Karayazi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Helvacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Azimoğlu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Türkiye's Gencay Azimoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ahmet Refik Balım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencay Azimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adil Kutsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
