Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bilge Baysoy kicked off to start the match. Bilge Baysoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eray Tugay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Okatan in the 6th minute of play. Celil Süvarioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bilge Baysoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Münir Yadigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilge Baysoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Münir Yadigar having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Ensar Okatan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but izmirgençlik's Eray Tugay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Münir Yadigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Baysoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Akpolat during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilla Akpolat hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mustafa Kemal Ongen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eray Tugay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Okatan in the 34th minute of play. When Erenköy's Ensar Okatan in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye izmirgençlik's goalie prevented a goal. Mustafa Kemal Ongen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Münir Yadigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Anıl Cenk Batırhan sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eray Tugay threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Anıl Cenk Batırhan this time. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
After a rather tough play, izmirgençlik's Arslan Uğural got a free kick in the 51st minute. Münir Yadigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Kemal Ongen in the 56th minute. When Mustafa Kemal Ongen came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the izmirgençlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Kemal Ongen couldn't finish the play. izmirgençlik's Eray Tugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalay Rızkullah in the 65th minute of play. During the 78th minute of the match Atilla Akpolat completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Atilla Akpolat a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Atilla Akpolat kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Mustafa Kemal Ongen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of izmirgençlik booed when Erenköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedirhan Yıldızhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes, Arslan Uğural mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the izmirgençlik and the Erenköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes izmirgençlik got a freekick which was hit by Arslan Uğural. Erenköy's Münir Yadigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Erenköy from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Atalay Rızkullah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eray Tugay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Despite being the better team, izmirgençlik failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
