Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Menderes got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Özalpman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayvaz Suhan in the 10th minute of play forced Menderes's goalkeeper Tayfun Baloğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mazgirt booed when Menderes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faruk Nafiz Şerefhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayvaz Suhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Menderes's Fahri Özalpman got a free kick in the 12th minute. Eşref Işıker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfun Baloğlu having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Menderes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykan Özdener to maneuver through the defense. Tuna Erokay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Orhan Asalet in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Menderes's zone, Ayvaz Suhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfun Baloğlu came out of the goal and Ayvaz Suhan tried to chip the ball over his head. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Menderes's Tayfun Baloğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayvaz Suhan in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eşref Işıker in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayfun Baloğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fahri Özalpman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Eşref Işıker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tayfun Baloğlu. Menderes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eşref Işıker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.
