Mazgirt's Tuna Erokay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkın Taran in the 73rd minute of play. Aşkın Gagauz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tuna Erokay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Birol Uram fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aydintepe's protests and gave Birol Uram a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mazgirt booed when Aydintepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birol Uram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazgirt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
