Spectators: 6901 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kuzey Başeskioğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Çakırdoğanlar Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzey Başeskioğlu came free, but Selmi Keykavus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Çakırdoğanlar Spor's zone, Kuzey Başeskioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selmi Keykavus came out of the goal and Kuzey Başeskioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tuncay Necdet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Günay Şengil made a huge save. Günay Şengil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eşref Şevket. In the 16th minute, Kuzey Başeskioğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selmi Keykavus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Işıkalp Özver came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the GÖZTEPE SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Işıkalp Özver couldn't finish the play. Selmi Keykavus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuzey Başeskioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuzey Başeskioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Işıkalp Özver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmi Keykavus having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Çakırdoğanlar Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Kuzey Başeskioğlu came free, but Selmi Keykavus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selmi Keykavus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuzey Başeskioğlu in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enginalp Kotuz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Işıkalp Özver who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Selmi Keykavus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 53 minutes, Eşref Şevket mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çakırdoğanlar Spor and the GÖZTEPE SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Çakırdoğanlar Spor's Eşref Şevket got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Işıkalp Özver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dündar Sertaçgil hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enginalp Kotuz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Günay Şengil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tuncay Necdet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Günay Şengil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Çakırdoğanlar Spor's goalkeeper Selmi Keykavus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Işıkalp Özver. After 70 played minutes Çakırdoğanlar Spor got a freekick which was hit by Arif Ozan Sırat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuncay Necdet couldn't finish the play. If Enginalp Kotuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Tuncay Necdet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Günay Şengil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
