After 14 played minutes Karakartal FK got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Ergök. Eser Canbolat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vecdi Bozoğluer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Çağrı Özerhan in the 19th minute of play forced SarıFırtına's goalkeeper Armağan Erboğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Çağrı Özerhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Armağan Erboğa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eser Canbolat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gencalp Pamir went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Karakartal FK's zone, Seyhun Hafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eser Canbolat came out of the goal and Seyhun Hafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SarıFırtına's Armağan Erboğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Çağrı Özerhan in the 36th minute of play. When Can Şanlı came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the SarıFırtına fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Can Şanlı couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Çağrı Özerhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, SarıFırtına was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulaş Sorgun to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SarıFırtına's Ulaş Sorgun got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Seyhun Hafi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eser Canbolat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
