A hard shot by Türker Karataş from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Gürhan Hezarfen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Öztürk Kutalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Özkul, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mirza Kırca's shot from long distance in the 21st minute was not bad at all, but Yunusemre spor's Gürhan Hezarfen knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With his leg Gürhan Hezarfen managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Asas's Sungurhan Karataş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Enginalp Neşet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gürhan Hezarfen made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Yunusemre spor's Sancarbey Urkan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sancarbey Urkan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yunusemre spor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sancarbey Urkan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yunusemre spor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Asas. The Yunusemre spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürhan Hezarfen should have stopped the shot. Gürhan Hezarfen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enginalp Neşet's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
