DOGANBEY's Talat Özdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10thth minute of the game Talat Özdemir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ümitköy's Güntekin Batıray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Talat Özdemir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Güntekin Batıray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gökhan Kocakalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Cenk Uğural in the 14th minute of the match. Gökhan Kocakalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beşir Çelebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Güntekin Batıray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykut Engiay in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Ümitköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür Seccac to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, DOGANBEY's Başaran Yazganalp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Güntekin Batıray came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DOGANBEY reached it. Aykut Engiay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Bircan Adaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talat Özdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talat Özdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Güntekin Batıray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ümitköy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Talat Özdemir 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ümitköy's Beşir Çelebi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Beşir Çelebi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökhan Kocakalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Talat Özdemir made a kick off. If Aykut Engiay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Talat Özdemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Güntekin Batıray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aykut Engiay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güntekin Batıray having to make a save. Aykut Engiay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Güntekin Batıray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DOGANBEY's Gökhan Kocakalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save DOGANBEY from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Aykut Engiay managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOGANBEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykut Engiay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güntekin Batıray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anıl Cenk Uğural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökhan Kocakalp having to interfere. If Aykut Engiay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talat Özdemir in the 94th minute of play forced Ümitköy's goalkeeper Güntekin Batıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talat Özdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güntekin Batıray having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DOGANBEY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ümitköy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
