The referee ignored IMPARATOR's protests and gave Seyrani Hanefi a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes IMPARATOR got a freekick which was hit by Seyrani Hanefi. Semdinli SK's Cihangir Değer got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, IMPARATOR's Doğan Olcay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Nabi Şensal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ali Nabi Şensal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Dural, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nabi Şensal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğan Olcay in the 21st minute of the match. Cihangir Değer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şevket Emiroğlu having to interfere. If Vahit Uluer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şevket Emiroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihangir Değer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Semdinli SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Korkut Garipoğlu in the 29th minute. Semdinli SK's Ahmet Korkut Garipoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şevket Emiroğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahit Uluer got free with Şevket Emiroğlu in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Vahit Uluer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Semdinli SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahit Uluer couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in IMPARATOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Şevket Emiroğlu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Doğan Olcay made the kick off in the second half. Doğan Olcay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Nabi Şensal came out and tried to block the shot, but Doğan Olcay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. Cihangir Değer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Semdinli SK's goalkeeper Ali Nabi Şensal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahit Uluer in the 69th minute of play forced IMPARATOR's goalkeeper Şevket Emiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafet Kuddus kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match.
