After 10 minutes, Abayhan Taze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yunusemre spor and the Ümitköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yunusemre spor getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abayhan Taze hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Yiğit Utkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hacı Yıldıray came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Yunusemre spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacı Yıldıray couldn't finish the play. Gürhan Hezarfen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beşir Çelebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 38th minute, Erdal Özker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Güntekin Batıray. The goal made the score 1-0. Hamza Uygur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berke Özkul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hacı Yıldıray in the 62nd minute of play forced Ümitköy's goalkeeper Güntekin Batıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hacı Yıldıray came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Yunusemre spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hacı Yıldıray couldn't finish the play. Güntekin Batıray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hacı Yıldıray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bircan Adaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürhan Hezarfen came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ümitköy's Anıl Cenk Uğural. But to his dismay, Anıl Cenk Uğural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Despite being the better team, Ümitköy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
