Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gönen's Berkan Canberk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Gönen from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute, Mete Tacim made a precise shot to the right of Derviş Çalkın. Ciftlik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Berkan Canberk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturay Sargınal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Tacim in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derviş Çalkın saved Ciftlik from getting behind. Gönen's Berkan Canberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Cenk Özsevi in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Baturay Sargınal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciftlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Baturay Sargınal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berkan Canberk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gazi Akata hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baturay Sargınal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Berkan Canberk. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Mete Tacim notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ciftlik's Derviş Çalkın. Derviş Çalkın was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hafız Ruhittin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkan Canberk having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hafız Ruhittin got free with Berkan Canberk in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gönen's Berkan Canberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturay Sargınal in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mete Tacim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derviş Çalkın was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The supporters of Gönen booed when Ciftlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Cenk Özsevi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinç Boğatekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Derviş Çalkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Hafız Ruhittin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciftlik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baturay Sargınal in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berkan Canberk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Hafız Ruhittin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkan Canberk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Baturay Sargınal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkan Canberk. Gönen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baturay Sargınal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Ciftlik's Seçkin Ökmener got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Ciftlik's Hafız Ruhittin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berkan Canberk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Göksel Olcaytu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Hafız Ruhittin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Baturay Sargınal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkan Canberk was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 87 minutes into the match, Baturay Sargınal notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Gönen's Berkan Canberk. Berkan Canberk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Hafız Ruhittin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkan Canberk. Gönen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hafız Ruhittin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. There was no doubt that Ciftlik were the better team. Ciftlik's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
