In the 19th minute Enis Behiç Akın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Saygın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbaros Saygın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Tümer in the 25th minute of play. If Ahmet Arif Tümer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. After the first half Gelibolu were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enis Behiç Akın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gelibolu's Ahmet Arif Tümer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barbaros Saygın. After 73 played minutes Cagne FC got a freekick which was hit by Hatemi Toydemir. After 78 minutes of play Cagne FC's Nejat Tanırer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Cagne FC got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Tanırer. When Gelibolu's Enis Behiç Akın in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cagne FC's Barbaros Saygın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Cagne FC from getting a goal against them. If Ahmet Arif Tümer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Cagne FC's goalkeeper Barbaros Saygın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cuma Yücelen. When the final whistle sounded Gelibolu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cagne FC.
