Güven Gürçınar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uygur Akdoğu went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, Ayvalık Fk 2020 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihan İnanöz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ilgaz booed when Ayvalık Fk 2020 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ozan Akbulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Cevat Akçabay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güven Gürçınar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bulut Yekta in the 22nd minute of play forced Ayvalık Fk 2020's goalkeeper Güven Gürçınar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güven Gürçınar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Dadaloğlu in the 23rd minute of play. Güven Gürçınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bulut Yekta in the 29th minute of the match. Güven Gürçınar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rahman Dadaloğlu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ilgaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahman Dadaloğlu couldn't finish the play. Bulut Yekta scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güven Gürçınar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rahman Dadaloğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Güven Gürçınar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rahman Dadaloğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Güven Gürçınar made a huge save. The Ilgaz fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Ilgaz's Rahman Dadaloğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 64 minutes, Ekber Sarduç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayvalık Fk 2020 and the Ilgaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Nasir Yıldıray came out of the goal and Ahmet Ozan Akbulut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dilmen Bahçıvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
