The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Kağan Başol during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serhan Cerme got free with Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Canakci's Kağan Batıray got a free kick in the 13th minute. Arslan Tolgay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Canakci's Alptuğ Okyar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lefter Yılkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uygur Kutsan having to interfere. After 25 played minutes DALKILIC got a freekick which was hit by Can Parsbay. Serhan Cerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Afşar Özdoruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canakci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afşar Özdoruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Can Parsbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Afşar Özdoruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uygur Kutsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uygur Kutsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşar Özdoruk in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Atilla Kağan Başol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Canakci got a corner. DALKILIC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Işık Tapık ran over to the corner to take the kick. Canakci's Işık Tapık was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uygur Kutsan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afşar Özdoruk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afşar Özdoruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Uygur Kutsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arslan Tolgay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Cerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mücahit Hanönü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arslan Tolgay in the 64th minute of play forced Canakci's goalkeeper Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uygur Kutsan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lefter Yılkan in the 66th minute. When Cüneyd Sökmen fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALKILIC's protests and gave Cüneyd Sökmen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Canakci booed when DALKILIC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cüneyd Sökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Afşar Özdoruk rounded DALKILIC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Arslan Tolgay struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ahmet Seyfi Tapgaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALKILIC. Lefter Yılkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
