İshak Türkşen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Furkan Okkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vehdi Özyay came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the GS SPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vehdi Özyay couldn't finish the play. In the 14thth minute of the game Furkan Okkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menemen's İshak Türkşen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bahtiyar Ocak's late challenge caught a GS SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahtiyar Ocak helped the player get up and apologised. Bahtiyar Ocak kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vehdi Özyay in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İshak Türkşen saved Menemen from getting behind. If Vehdi Özyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vehdi Özyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Menemen's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Okkan came free, but İshak Türkşen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Yakut Oyum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Furkan Okkan in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İshak Türkşen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Furkan Okkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İshak Türkşen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdurrezzak Mahmut charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdurrezzak Mahmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Batıray İlteber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sungurbey Tarık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nejat Çetinoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vehdi Özyay struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. İshak Türkşen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GS SPOR.
