In the 19th minute Ahmet Ege Alişan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Boberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ege Alişan succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altay Kebir in the 23rd minute of play forced Giresun SK's goalkeeper Kuddusî Saye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MMTKR's Müjdat Yayalp got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to MMTKR getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Müjdat Yayalp hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Giresun SK's Ahmet Ege Alişan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Ove Boberg. Sven-Ove Boberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Ertuğrul Has in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Ove Boberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Altay Kebir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Giresun SK got a freekick which was hit by Özgün Yalkı. 54 minutes into the match, Ertuğrul Has notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of MMTKR's Sven-Ove Boberg. Sven-Ove Boberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Ove Boberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ege Alişan in the 60th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Boberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Ove Boberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertuğrul Has, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ege Alişan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Ove Boberg. MMTKR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Ege Alişan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Esen Uyun hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Yiğitcan Babayiğit in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Giresun SK's Ahmet İlhan Battal. 94 minutes into the match, MMTKR's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ege Alişan came free, but Sven-Ove Boberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
