The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Hakan Yıldız's late challenge caught a Kadisehri FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Hakan Yıldız helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yenal Oyal in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Özarkın saved Kadisehri FK from getting behind. İzmir Gücü's Asaf Mithat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save İzmir Gücü from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, one of Kadisehri FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Kadisehri FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Atay Taciroğlu hit a great ball. Affan Çiftçioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asaf Mithat having to interfere. Fevzi Kutlucan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asaf Mithat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fevzi Kutlucan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hikmet Tezkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Affan Çiftçioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Gökberk Öztaylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İzmir Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kadisehri FK the free kick. After 33 played minutes İzmir Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Gökberk Öztaylan. Asaf Mithat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Affan Çiftçioğlu in the 35th minute of the match. Asaf Mithat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Affan Çiftçioğlu in the 36th minute of play. Gökberk Öztaylan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Affan Çiftçioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kadisehri FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Affan Çiftçioğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asaf Mithat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in İzmir Gücü's zone, Affan Çiftçioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asaf Mithat came out of the goal and Affan Çiftçioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Affan Çiftçioğlu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ali Behzat Salar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İzmir Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kadisehri FK the free kick. In the 51st minute, one of İzmir Gücü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for İzmir Gücü. 56 minutes into the match, Fevzi Kutlucan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asaf Mithat. İzmir Gücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fevzi Kutlucan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Cevdet Bilgiç hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Yenal Oyal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arif Özarkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hikmet Tezkan in the 63rd minute of play forced Kadisehri FK's goalkeeper Arif Özarkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevdet Bilgiç kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Yenal Oyal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 66th playminute. In the 69th match minute, Kadisehri FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevdet Bilgiç to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ali Behzat Salar in the 70th minute really tested Arif Özarkın's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Yenal Oyal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Arif Özarkın when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Fevzi Kutlucan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asaf Mithat was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Fevzi Kutlucan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kadisehri FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. If Yenal Oyal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İzmir Gücü's Asaf Mithat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Affan Çiftçioğlu in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Fevzi Kutlucan made a precise shot to the right of Asaf Mithat. İzmir Gücü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Cihan Yorangil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kadisehri FK! For all the effort they put into the match, the İzmir Gücü players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kadisehri FK.
