Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Çakır Sebuktekin started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute, Abdulhamit Pekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Sultanbeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Emir Onay to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Tanzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Kursunlu's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Sebuktekin came free, but Ragıp Kamaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kursunlu's Ragıp Kamaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metin Seyban in the 31st minute of play. Ragıp Kamaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çakır Sebuktekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Ali Kürşat Nizami had to leave the field with a concussion. Turgut Ekiner's late challenge caught a Kursunlu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Turgut Ekiner helped the player get up and apologised. Kursunlu's Hasan Hüseyin Çırakoğlu was substituted for Ali Kürşat Nizami. The supporters of Kursunlu booed when Sultanbeyli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Ekiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Tanzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sait Erokay during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sait Erokay kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Mustafa Tanzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giray Oncubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sultanbeyli's Turgut Ekiner got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Turgut Ekiner off the ground. After 48 played minutes Sultanbeyli got a freekick which was hit by Turgut Ekiner. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Giray Oncubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Tanzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Samir Zafir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giray Oncubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samir Zafir scored 1-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giray Oncubay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sultanbeyli's Giray Oncubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Tanzer in the 70th minute of play. Mustafa Tanzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Giray Oncubay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Gökhan Umay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ragıp Kamaci. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sultanbeyli's zone, Mustafa Tanzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giray Oncubay came out of the goal and Mustafa Tanzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Mustafa Tanzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kursunlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Tanzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samir Zafir took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giray Oncubay. Giray Oncubay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Abdulhamit Pekin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Sultanbeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sait Erokay to maneuver through the defense. Giray Oncubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Zafir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulhamit Pekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray Oncubay having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Kursunlu's Mustafa Tanzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giray Oncubay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Kursunlu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
