Orkun Şerif hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Özdemir Aktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragıp Kamaci having to interfere. In the 21st minute Özdemir Aktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ragıp Kamaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cibali getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Egemen Toygar hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Cibali got a freekick which was hit by Ramazan Akburçak. Cibali's Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Tanzer in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Egemen Toygar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bora Ulusoy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Kursunlu booed when Cibali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özdemir Aktürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Cibali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramazan Akburçak to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cibali's goalkeeper Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cibali's Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Zafir in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cibali's Çetin Tarancı got a free kick in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özdemir Aktürk to strike the kick off in the second half. Özdemir Aktürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özdemir Aktürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ragıp Kamaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Cihangir in the 58th minute of play. Cibali were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Kursunlu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özdemir Aktürk took the corner. After taking down the ball on Cibali's corner Özdemir Aktürk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ragıp Kamaci quite easily take care of the ball. Egemen Toygar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cibali's Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan got control of the ball when Samir Zafir tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulhamit Pekin got free with Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Kursunlu fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Kursunlu's Samir Zafir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Samir Zafir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Zafir in the 79th minute of play forced Cibali's goalkeeper Ahmet Gökalp Özbekkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzhan Tanver hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes, Cibali's Özdemir Aktürk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ragıp Kamaci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cibali reached it. The Cibali fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kursunlu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
