In the 6th match minute, Mazidagi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ensar Akgöl to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Mazidagi's goal looked a bit too open when Aygün Öztürk came free, but Behiç Sonalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necati Onursan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şaban Ceviz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Şaban Ceviz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taner Kutsalmis in the 11th minute of play. Behiç Sonalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Öztürk in the 24th minute of the match. Eşref Zafer kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kirazlıyayla F.K's zone, Taner Kutsalmis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şaban Ceviz came out of the goal and Taner Kutsalmis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Behiç Sonalp was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Aygün Öztürk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aygün Öztürk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 37 minutes Kirazlıyayla F.K's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Ali Peyam who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Kirazlıyayla F.K booed when Mazidagi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eşref Zafer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necati Onursan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şaban Ceviz having to interfere. Behiç Sonalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Özerol, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nejat Özerol couldn't finish the play. Şaban Ceviz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Necati Onursan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Necati Onursan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şaban Ceviz having to make a save. The Mazidagi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Behiç Sonalp should have stopped the shot. If Necati Onursan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kirazlıyayla F.K's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
